How to cancel a booking

Cancellations are handled in-app.

  1. Go to your Bookings (accessible from your profile).
  2. Find the booking you want to cancel.
  3. Tap Cancel and confirm.

Refunds depend on how far in advance you cancel:

  • More than 60 days before the activity — full refund (minus any non-refundable processing fees).
  • 60 to 30 days before — 75% refund.
  • 29 to 15 days before — 50% refund.
  • Less than 15 days before — no refund.
  • No-shows or late arrivals — no refund.

Rescheduling: Contact your guide directly to discuss moving to a different date.

We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance that covers cancellations.

What happens if your guide cancels

If your guide needs to cancel due to weather, safety concerns, illness, or other exceptional circumstances, they

will either:

  • Propose an alternative activity on the same date, or
  • Propose to postpone to a later date, or
  • Cancel the activity entirely.

If the guide proposes an alternative activity similar to the original, you're expected to accept it. If you decline the alternative, the standard cancellation policy above applies. Only the guide decides whether conditions justify a cancellation due to weather or safety.

If the guide fails to attend or cancels for personal reasons (e.g. injury), you'll receive a full 100% refund.

Note: if your booking includes third-party services like accommodation, flights, or transfers, different cancellation terms may apply as the guide may be bound by the provider's terms.
