Welcome to the group for splitboarding beginners or riders with a bit more experience who want to meet others at the same stage, explore together, and build confidence step by step. This group is based around Styria, Upper Austria and Salzburg, but open to trips to Salzburg or Tyrol when there’s interest and good planning involved. Our goal is to make splitboarding more accessible — organizing easy touring days, intro-level routes, and progressive outings where everyone can practice uphill techniques, transitions, and enjoy safe descents together. We also share info about safety and avalanche courses, off-piste awareness, and other learning opportunities to grow our mountain skills as a community. Whether you’re completely new or just looking for people to ride with, you’re welcome here. Let’s get outside, share experiences, and keep learning together!
