Oak Course
Location
Andermatt
Date
Mon, 5 Apr 2027
Estimated Duration
5 Days
Our 5-day Urner hut-to-hut ski tour highlights the amazing ski terrain deep in the heart of Switzerland. This exciting range of mountains provides aesthetic and proud descents, more intimate alpine hut settings, and a customized atmosphere away from the crowds that typically travel the more famous hut tours in the Alps. Instead of fighting for fresh tracks, we'll find untouched lines every day of our tour. Starting from the town of Andermatt, we'll take a bus to the start of our route. After putting on skins, we'll begin our journey, travelling from hut to hut, seeking out the best snow. We'll skin over passes and up to summits with unbelievable views, then skiing long descents to arrive at our next night's accommodation in a cozy wardened mountain hut. Our final ski day ends in the town of Engelberg, where we'll say our farewells and reminisce on an amazing and unique experience we've all just shared.

IFMGA Guide
I am an AMGA/IFMGA Mountain Guide and a Swiss American who works in California, Norway, Switzerland and France. I guide ski touring trips (from day tours to overnight hut or Ski & Sail trips) as well as rock and alpine climbing tours in the High Sierra and the Alps. I love both mountain ranges as they offer highly technical tours in very different environments. While residing mostly in California, I live in Switzerland for a portion of the year to guide and recreate with family and friends. If you’re looking for a guide for your tour, or information on the Sierra, Norway, or the Alps, I’m happy to meet and chat with you!
