Steep Skiing – 2-Day Program (Arolla, Valais) Improve your vertical and steep-slope skiing skills, then take on a real alpine couloir! Day 1 – Training & Skills • Location: Near Arolla resort, safe steep slopes • Focus on vertical skiing, turns in steep terrain, and speed control • Small exercises with certified IFMGA guide • Prepare for the couloir descent the next day Day 2 – Couloir Descent • Route: Northeast couloir of Sierre de Vuibe (Arolla) • Full ski tour experience in steep alpine terrain • Glacier and couloir techniques applied in real conditions • ~800–1000 m vertical descent depending on snow conditions Level: Advanced skiers, confident on steep slopes and couloirs ⸻
