Trip possible any Day in Spring and Autumn. A two-day alpine via ferrata adventure in the Loferer Steinberge, combining a scenic hut approach with practical training and a challenging high-alpine route. Based at the Schmidt-Zabierow-Hütte, participants build their skills on Day 1 before tackling the Nackter Hund and/or Wilder Hund (C/D) on Day 2. Day 1 – Hut Approach & Training: Approach the Schmidt-Zabierow-Hütte (1,966 m), approx. 3½ hours / 1,150 m ascent. Afternoon via ferrata training near the hut, focusing on equipment, movement, clipping technique and exposure. Day 2 – Nackter Hund / Wilder Hund: Early start and ascent through the Große Wehrgrube. Depending on conditions and ability, climb the Nackter Hund or combine it with the Wilder Hund, with the option to reach the Mitterhorn (2,506 m). Return to the valley after the tour.
