A 3-day ascent of Mont Blanc (4,810 m) via the classic Goûter route, in a VIP 1:1 guiding format, one client, one guide, for the full trip. Two nights at altitude give you a real chance to acclimatise before summit day. Why this route: The Goûter route is the historic, most-climbed line on Mont Blanc, well equipped with huts and a well-trodden path, but still a serious high-altitude objective. The VIP format means the whole itinerary, pace, and timing are built around you alone, rather than fitting a group's schedule. Who it's for: Experienced, well-trained mountaineers who are comfortable on crampons and with an ice axe on steep snow and glaciated terrain, and fit enough for sustained multi-hour days at altitude. Prior high-altitude experience is expected. Conditions: Hut places at the Tête Rousse and Goûter refuges are secured for the dates offered. The itinerary can shift by a day if the weather window changes.
• Mountaineering boots, crampons, ice axe, harness, helmet; layered mountain clothing, waterproof shell, warm insulated jacket; headlamp; sleeping liner for the huts; sun protection; water bottle and snacks
