A five-day introductory course to trad climbing (natural protection) in Tromsø, designed for climbers who want to move beyond sport climbing. The course covers safe placement and evaluation of gear such as cams and nuts, building solid anchors, route finding, and risk assessment in alpine terrain. Through hands-on practice in real climbing environments, participants develop the skills and confidence needed to climb multi-pitch routes with natural protection under the guidance of experienced instructors. We practice at the crags before finishing off with independent multipitch climbing at Baugen (weather dependent).
