Hike to La Junction

Hike in Chamonix to the famous Junction. Come see the Bosson Glacier up close! Meet at Les Bossons train station.

We begin the morning by meeting at Les Bossons train station. From there it is a short walk to the historic Bossons chairlift, 1102m long, which will take us to 1410m elevation. Our trek begins, we hike up for 1.5hs to reach Point de vue des Pyramides at 1895m. After taking in incredible views of the glacier we will continue for a 2 hours to our lunch spot. With just one more hour of hiking we finally reach La Jonction at 2590m. Here you can touch the glacier itself! Once we have had our fill of views of Mont Blanc and all the wonders of the valley, we will begin our 4hr decent back to the chair lift. A long but very satisfying and beautiful day!
