Explore the hidden corners of the Chamonix valley and surrounding areas, recce a race route ahead of the race, get away from the crowds with the local knowledge of a qualified trail running guide.
• Trail running shoes
• Running poles (reccomended)

• rain jacket (can be used as windproof)
• rain pants (if rain forecast)
• lightweight warm mid layer
• gloves and hat/buff (for higher elevations)
• minimum of 1 litre water
• trail snacks / carb gels

• Running vest (minimum 6 litres capacity)
• Guides on Oak are verified by Oak, but users should independently confirm a guide’s qualifications.
• Participants are responsible for ensuring their skill level and fitness are suitable for the activity.
• Individuals should only attempt techniques or terrain they feel personally confident with.
• All instructions and safety guidance from the guide should be followed at all times.
• Users must ensure their own equipment is appropriate and in safe working condition.

International Mountain Leader based in Chamonix for 10 years. I spend my winters ski mountaineering and paragliding when in the Alps. I also travel to other mountainous regions for paragliding, trail running and trekking. In summer I spend my time leading running and trekking trips through the Alps, as well as paragliding and personal running projects. I also enjoy mountain and road biking.
