📅 Day 1 — Approach to Cabane de la Dent Blanche (3,507 m) Start point: Parking at Les Haudères / Ferpècle (~1,800–1,900 m) End point: Cabane de la Dent Blanche (3,507 m) 🥾 Route * Follow the trail through the valley toward Ferpècle glacier basin * Steep ascent via moraines and rocky terrain * Final section includes fixed cables and exposed scrambling 📅 Day 2 — Summit (4,357 m) & Descent Start time: ~03:30–04:00 Route: South Ridge (normal route) 🧗♂️ Route Description * Mixed terrain: snow, ice, and rock * Sustained ridge climbing with exposure * Sections up to UIAA III, occasionally IV depending on line/conditions * Fixed anchors in some sections, but mostly traditional alpine climbing * Narrow summit ridge, often with cornices 🎒 Client Gear (Simple) Clothing * Warm jacket (down or synthetic) * Waterproof jacket * Trekking/mountaineering pants * Base layer (top + bottom) * Fleece or mid-layer * Warm hat + sun cap * Gloves (warm + light) * 1–2 pairs of socks ⸻ Footwear * Mountaineering boots (crampon compatible) * Crampons ⸻ Technical * Harness * Helmet * Ice axe ⸻ Backpack * Backpack (30–40L) * Headlamp * Sunglasses (Category 4) * Sunscreen + lip balm * Water (1–1.5L) * Thermos (optional) * Snacks ⸻ Hut * Sleeping liner * Earplugs * Small toiletry kit * Cash (CHF)
