An introductory avalanche safety class aimed at getting beginners familiar with their avalanche safety equipment and rescue protocols. The class is great as a refresher too and also just for practice if it's been a while!

During the class you will learn: - how to use your transceiver, probe and shovel correctly and efficiently - how to carry out a full victim search from start to finish following the rescue protocol The objective of the class is to successfully carry out a search of two victims in under 7 minutes!

• Participants are responsible for ensuring their skill level and fitness are suitable for the activity.
• Individuals should only attempt techniques or terrain they feel personally confident with.
