Pic de Sotllo per Baborte

A circular route, elegant and, in my opinion, much more interesting than the classic one via the Coma d’Estats and the Port de Sotllo, to reach the Pic de Sotllo (3,073 m) — often the great forgotten one in the shadow of the Pica, yet of great beauty, located between the Coma de Sotllo, Coma d’Estats, Coma de Broate, and the Cometa d’Estats. The route is beautiful in its entirety and particularly solitary in the section from the Pla de Boavi to the summit and the Coll de Baborte, passing through the magnificent Coma de Broate and the Coll dels Guins de l’Ase. The final ridge section towards the summit, while not difficult, gives the route a wonderful touch of fluidity and adventure.
