Grossglockner via the Normal Route

I’m 41 and an experienced alpine mountaineer looking for one or two reliable rope partners for a Grossglockner ascent via the Normal Route in early October. 📅 Dates: flexible between October 2–10, 2026, depending on weather and conditions 🏕️ Accommodation: Stüdlhütte, ideally 1–2 nights 🚗 Travel: coming from the Rhine-Main area in Germany, car available I have solid high-alpine and glacier experience, including Gran Paradiso, Wildspitze, Zugspitze, Dachstein and Signalkuppe. Most recently, I completed the Watzmann traverse and Vorder Grauspitz. I’m looking for a safe, relaxed ascent with good teamwork – no race to the summit and no summit at all costs. If conditions are suitable, I’d prefer to do the climb independently, without a mountain guide. I’m also happy to join an existing rope team. Ideally, we could meet up or do a smaller tour together beforehand to get to know each other and see how we work as a rope team. Interested? Just send me a message Benny ----- (German Version below) Ich (41, erfahren im alpinen Bergsteigen) suche für Anfang Oktober einen oder zwei zuverlässige Seilpartner für den Großglockner über den Normalweg. 📅 Zeitraum: flexibel zwischen 2.–10.10.2026, abhängig von Wetter und Verhältnissen 🏕️ Übernachtung: Stüdlhütte, gerne 1–2 Nächte 🚗 Anreise: aus dem Rhein-Main-Gebiet, Auto vorhanden Ich habe solide Hochtouren- und Gletschererfahrung, u. a. auf Gran Paradiso, Wildspitze, Zugspitze, Dachstein und Signalkuppe. Zuletzt habe ich die Watzmann-Überschreitung und die Vorder Grauspitz gemacht. Mir geht es um eine sichere, entspannte Besteigung mit gutem Miteinander – keine Geschwindigkeitsaktion und kein Gipfel um jeden Preis. Die Tour würde ich bei passenden Bedingungen gerne selbstständig und ohne Bergführer gehen. Gerne auch Anschluss an eine bestehende Seilschaft.
